Classic: At this service we sing mostly hymns, a few choruses, and the piano is a primary source of music. It's why we call it "Classic". You'd love this service if you want a more traditional style of worship. The demographic here is mostly middle aged adults, seniors, and the average early risers. There is NO child care at this service. However, if you have small children and you want to come to Classic, come on! We love kids and having babies in a service brings us joy, even if they are making noises. Contemporary: The name ought to tell you what this service is like. The music is much more modern and you would probably hear several of the songs we sing on KTIS. This service has a full worship team and band that leads the congregation in true, authentic worship. The service structure is a lot more relaxed, and the primary demographic is made up of children, teens, college students, singles, young families, and middle aged adults, with a few others mixed in. It’s a wide range of ages and backgrounds that provide a unique atmosphere for discipleship to effectively take place. Childcare is provided! Youth Worship: Again, self-explanatory. This service is all about out teenagers. We have a youth led worship experience that leads the teens to hear a message from God's word. After the message teens break up into discussion groups that are led by our youth workers. These groups help them dig deeper and deal with the message in practical ways that they can start using that week. Our youth ministry is for students in 6th-12th grades. Cry Out! This service isn't taking place yet, but the planning is underway. It will be targeting college students and young adults, but will be open to everyone. The idea behind it is to focus on crying out to our God through meaningful worship. The message will be sandwiched between two periods of passionate worship and will be the same message that is preached at Contemporary. Lord willing, this service will launch in the Spring. |
