Deacons: We believe deacons were called and ordained to serve the church (Acts 6:1-7). They assist the church staff in shepherding God's flock by minister to the individual church members. Yoke Fellows: Yoke fellows are "yoked" with experienced deacons. They are deacons going through on the job training. Each yoke fellow is paired up with one of the above deacons and they have heir own family assignments that the are serving. Yoke fellows are given this experience to determine God's call in their lives. Most will end up being ordained deacons but some discover that the deacon ministry isn't their calling.
